  I was sent to live in Arroyo Grande for a few weeks, and so I decided to go to the church that is up here. It is a little tough to find if you're not paying attention, but other than that it is a great church. The building is beautiful. It has lots of paintings of Jesus. The church is very open and inviting. It sponsors activities for youth groups, teaches early morning scripture-study classes for youth, teaches Spanish classes, regularly has basketball games, and regularly holds seasonal parties/cookouts for holidays and other celebrations. None of these require membership. The Sunday service is probably the most important and enjoyable. The atmosphere during worship is very reverent and very peaceful. The hymns are lovely. The parishioners are warm and friendly. The clergymen are ordinary folks who don't get paid but love to help you. After the worship services there are classes for toddlers, children, youth, and adults.
